I'm Shaun Murray, a fingerstyle guitarist from Maidstone in Kent. I started learning in my secondary school years but gave up at 16 - I guess a lack of motivation and inspiration were the causes! I took it up again at 36.
Most of my postings are solo arrangements, the transcriptions for most of which are available to buy through my website www.shaunmurray.co.uk.
Recordings: The Entertainer (2001), Nails and Nylon (2006) and Capricho (2007) are out of print now but a remastered 17-track compilation entitled 'Never Alone' featuring tracks from all 3 albums is now available from my website. My most recent album - Theatreland (2016) features songs from the shows.

Vanity Fair by Squeeze
I haven’t been hugely active on YT for a couple of years now, unfortunately through a lack of time. But what arranging I’ve done has mainly been songs by Squeeze, my favourite band. This is a gem of a composition from East Side Story (1981). Glenn Tilbrook wrote the music for voice and strings, it was tricky arranging the melody above the cello line, so not the cleanest performance but what a great track from this epic album.
